The Ocean Fairy dances on Cloudlands

In the final week of the Cloudlands project in Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Dublin, the Ocean Fairy came to life! This story was written by one of the teenage participants in Temple Street and we were lucky to have dancer Rachel Ensor to breathe life to the character through her dance in the hospital. Rachel Tynan, artist in residence at Temple Street, and Rachel Ensor worked together to choreograph a dance piece that began on the main corridor of the hospital when the dancer emerged from beneath the sound quilt, a collaborative work created by all of this year’s participants. Rachel then danced through the corridors up to the dialysis unit where she met her creator.
