Helium one of the charities for UCD Med Day on 16 October
We are delighted that for the second year running, Helium is one of the chosen charities for this year’s UCD Med Day, Ireland’s largest and longest running student faculty day. Taking place on Friday, 16 October, 600 UCD medical students will take to the streets of Dublin bucket-shaking to raise much needed funds for this year’s chosen charities: Helium, Laura Lynn Foundation, Debra Ireland, The Mater Foundation, St. Vincent’s Foundation and the Berkeley Fund – In Aid of Injured Victims.
Patrick Short, UCD Medical Society Auditor, on why they chose Helium for the second year running: ‘Helium is a fantastic organisation making a huge difference to many children throughout the country. We hope our support will make a big impact, and we are delighted to be able to help in any way we can.’
Come and join us on the 16th and donate what you can!
