Helium Arts wins 2016 Allianz Community Art Prize at Business to Arts Awards

We are delighted to announce that Helium Arts has won the Allianz Community Art Award at the 2016 Allianz Business to Arts Awards. The €5000 prize was awarded for Helium’s Early Years Performance Project with the Jack and Jill Foundation which supports children under three with complex needs. The project visits families in their homes, using music, sound, puppetry, movement and tactile environments to provide parents with new ways of bonding with their child. The award funding will support a new phase of the project.

Helene Hugel, Helium's Artistic Director, and Joanna Williams, Early Years Project Director, accept the award from Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Heather Humphreys TD.
