How you can help us!

Be a Helium Hero! Volunteer at our Concert and Film Screening!

On February 2nd, Helium Arts will be hosting a concert and film screening event in Dublin. We are looking for volunteers to help with front of house duties on the day. The showcase will include the premiere of Home Sweet Home, the latest film by CanTeen Ireland and Helium, a concert featuring original music created and performed by CanTeen members, and special musical guests. This is a unique volunteer opportunity that puts volunteers into the action of one of Helium’s exciting programmes. Come help us show off the talent of some of our incredible participants.

At Helium Arts, we believe creativity changes lives. Volunteer with us at this special event, and help us change the lives of sick children in Ireland.

Summary of Role:

Are you friendly and enthusiastic? Do you enjoy working with young people and families? Do you believe creativity and the arts provide a meaningful outlet for stress, anxiety and loneliness?

As a Helium Arts Front of House Volunteer you will be an essential member of the team, helping to ensure that one of our most exciting events of the year exceeds expectations. You may be asked to perform a variety of duties including checking tickets and guest lists, managing the cloakroom, and selling raffle tickets.

This is a great opportunity to see the results of one of Helium Arts’ programmes in action and interact with some of the young people and families that benefit from all of the hard work volunteers put in at our fundraising events throughout the year.

Date, Time, and Place:

2nd of February, 2019; 11.45 am- 3.00pm; The Sugar Club, Dublin

All volunteers will be provided with a Helium T Shirt to wear on the day. You will be given a full induction into your role and will be supported by members of the Helium Arts team and long-term volunteers. It’s going to be a fun, exciting atmosphere for all involved… We’d love to have you on board as a Helium Hero for this Concert and Film Screening Event.

If you are interested, please email with a CV and a brief statement about why you would like to volunteer with Helium Arts at this Event.

Closing date: Monday, January 28th, 5 PM
