Helium Arts at Cruinniú na nÓg
Helium Arts is presenting Soundscape – Immersive Multisensory Experience for Children With Autism as part of this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg in Cabra Library, Dublin this June 15th.
Enjoy a space where children can wander freely and explore a variety of sights, feelings and sounds. Sound artist Slavek Kwi and performer Niamh Lawlor guide children and their families on a sensory and immersive journey unique to the moment, which responds to the ability of the child. Children are invited to connect with and make sound with the artists.
Each interactive workshop is designed for a small number of children and their families. Families can experience how sound and music, combined with tactile experiences, can help children with communication difficulties relate to the world around them in new ways.
Each session is for two families only, so be sure to book by email to avoid disappointment. Please state any access needs upon booking and we will tailor the workshop to your family.
Suitable for ages 6-10 and children with autism.
