Life in TechniColour: concert and screening with CanTeen Ireland at The Sugar Club

Join us for a celebration of live music and movies by young members of CanTeen Ireland, the national young people’s cancer support group. This free lunchtime event is coming to The Sugar Club in Dublin on Saturday 7 March.

  • Original music created and performed by CanTeen members with acclaimed musician and composer Seán Carpio
  • Premiere of short films by CanTeen members with artists Seán Carpio and Alan Brennan: From the misunderstood outsider in “After Boo” to the light-hearted relief of “Billy the Bat” to the people that get you through dark days in “TechnoColour,” these shorts with original soundtracks were created on Helium’s award-winning community arts project
  • Special musical guests (last year Wild Youth brought the house down! Stay tuned to find out who will perform this year…)
  • Short documentary: We go behind the scenes on Helium’s music and film project, hearing from the young people on how they created their film works and soundtracks

Date: Saturday 7 March 2020
Location: The Sugar Club, 8 Leeson Street Lower, Dublin 2
Time: 12 – 1.30pm

Booking: This is a FREE event but booking is essential:
