CloudlandsA Documentary

The Cloudlands project was Helium’s flagship artist in residence programme from 2012 to 2015. This documentary follows the project at Temple Street Children’s University Hospital with artist Rachel Tynan. An intimate portrait of teenagers living with long term illness and the role of artistic practice in healthcare, the film was made by Siobhan Perry and had its premiere at the Light House Cinema, Dublin in 2015. Cloudlands was subsequently screened in competition at the Galway Film Fleadh and shown on Aer Lingus transatlantic flights in 2016.

Cloudlands is the result of an artsandhealth.ie documentation bursary award funded by the Arts Council and the Cork Arts and Health Programme, HSE South.
