Helium Arts works across the healthcare system offering a range of arts projects for children and teenagers led by professional artists. Projects range from once-off events to longer term residencies.
Community
We run a number of community projects in partnership with patient support groups, from filmmaking to puppetmaking to artmaking!
Early Years
Pop Up Picnic is our current early years project, a multi-sensory performance experience created for families with young children who have complex needs.
Professional Development
Helium’s Professional Development Programme offers training and support to artists and healthcare staff.
Creative Health Hubs
Helium Arts’ Creative Health Hub model is an exciting new approach to bring our innovative, multidisciplinary creative projects to many more children and teenagers across Ireland. In each Creative Health Hub location, Helium’s artist will deliver a continuous programme of activity connecting between hospitals, community and public settings.
