Our Saturday teen meet ups are proving to be very popular this year. We’ve had so much fun. Activities have included, visits to exhibitions, lot of time spent outdoors in nature, printmaking, painting, drawing, sketching, collage, sound art, photography and lots more to come.
The meet ups will culminate in a big and exciting celebration in November so don’t miss out! You still have two last chances to get involved before then

More about the meet ups…
Join Cork Artist Niamh Gibbons for our exciting new Teen Meet Ups. We will do creative workshops and on site visits to exhibitions and places that peak our interest throughout the year. We will grow our own programme of creative activities together, emerging from our shared interests and curiosities. Activities may include, visits to exhibitions, printmaking, painting, drawing sketching, collage, sound art, photography and more. We will also take lots of time to chat, relax and have fun! Come, make friends, meet new people, see new things, and step into a world of possibilities!
This is a year long programme and the meet ups will happen on the last Saturday of every month*
*Except April due to the bank holiday. The April meet up will happen a week earlier.
There will be morning and afternoon sessions available.
The programme will culminate in a big celebration in November.

25th March – Westside Library, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway
22nd April – Visit to exhibition by Benjamin de Búrca and Bárbara Wagner at Galway Arts Centre and drop into a cafe
27th May – Westside Library, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway
24th June – Galway City Library, St. Augustine Street, Galway
