About our Youth Forum Art Showcase Meet-Ups
We’re inviting young people aged 13-16+ to take part in the Youth Forum Art Showcase Meet-Ups – a short creative programme leading up to Helium’s All-Island Youth Forum in September 2026.
The programme includes three online workshops in May and one in-person workshop in June, during which participants will work with a professional artist to explore ideas and create artwork for the Youth Forum Art Showcase.
Workshop dates
Online workshops (Zoom): 2 May, 16 May, 23 May
In-person workshop: 27 June at IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art), Dublin
During the workshops, participants will experiment with creative activities, develop ideas together and create artwork that reflects their experiences and perspectives.
The work developed across the programme will form part of the Youth Forum Art Showcase at Helium’s All-Island Youth Forum, a youth-led event bringing together young people with long term health conditions from across the island of Ireland to share creativity, ideas and experiences. The Forum will take place on 26 September 2026 at The Helix, DCU.
Helium will send art materials to participants in advance of the online workshops so everyone has what they need to take part.
This programme is a chance to explore ideas, connect with other young people and contribute to a creative showcase at a national youth event.
