Join the Helium Arts Youth Advisory Group
- Are you between 13 and 25 years of age?
- Are you living with a lifelong physical health condition?
- Do you want to make new friends and use your voice and creativity to make a difference?
Then, we want to hear from you. We are currently recruiting for new members to join the Helium Arts Youth Advisory Group.

You are welcome to join us for a taster on any for the following dates:
- When: Saturday 24 September, 2022 (11.00 – 14.00), The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin
- Saturday 22 October, 2022 (11.00 – 14.00) online over Zoom
- Saturday 3 December 2022 (11.00 – 14.00), The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Dublin
Fill in an expression of interest form below to come to one of our YAG Taster Workshops. The workshops will involve creative activities and you will get a chance to experience what is involved, meet Helium Arts artists and existing YAG members and ask questions.
ABOUT THE HELIUM ARTS YOUTH ADVISORY GROUP (YAG)
At Helium Arts, we believe that in order to work with young people, it is vital that you listen to them first. This is why our Youth Advisory Group (YAG) is such an important part of our organisation. The Helium Arts Youth Advisory Group is a voice for young people living with lifelong physical health conditions. Through creative workshops, facilitated by the Helium artist team, YAG participants share their thoughts and experiences on how creative opportunities can support the wellbeing of young people managing lifelong physical health conditions.

HOW TO APPLY?
Fill in an expression of interest form and tell us a little about yourself. The Helium Arts team will select young people for YAG taster workshops based on your replies from the expression of interest form – your interest in creativity and experience of collaborating with others. We will also try to balance new participants with the existing YAG group in terms of age range, gender, social and cultural diversity.
Deadlines for receipt of applications: 12 noon, Friday 28th October (for Oct YAG Taster) and 12 noon, Friday 2nd December, 2022 (for Dec YAG Taster).
