Helium Arts is now a ‘Triple Locked’ Charity

We are delighted to announce that Helium Arts has been awarded ‘Triple Lock’ status by the Charities Institute Ireland (CII).  Triple Lock status is awarded to charities that uphold the highest standards in transparent reporting, ethical fundraising and strong governance structures.  We are one of only 100 charities in Ireland that are ‘Triple Locked’.

In order to achieve the ‘Triple Lock’ status we had to actively demonstrate the following:

Ethical Fundraising

We have shown that our board has formally adopted the Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public. Our staff, volunteers and anyone else fundraising on our behalf are fully trained on the requirements and we have implemented controls to ensure that all our fundraising practices are fully in line with the “Guidelines” and any related Codes of Practice. We review and report annually on compliance.

Annual and Financial Reporting

Helium Arts prepares a trustees annual report and financial statements in full compliance with the Charity SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice under FRS102) and makes them easily available to the public on our website.

Governance

Our board has formally adopted the ‘Charities Governance Code‘ as devised by the CRA.
