Fun, shared experiences with friends at our Autumn Camps

At the beginning of November, we held our three day Autumn Camps in five different venues.  Alongside Clare, Mayo and Galway we were delighted to introduce two new venues in Roscommon and Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.  27 children in total signed up for the camps.

From shadow puppetry to printing presses to stop motion video making, the artists, volunteers, medics and participants all had great fun. All the children engaged in their own creative process from start to finish and came away with not only new skills but new friends and shared experiences too.

We began our Saturday Winter Workshops on the 12th November and we have already seen some children returning to the venues with delight to meet their new friends again.  We love that we are building our Helium Community and look forward to meeting more and more community members in 2023.

Below you can see some of the work created by our participants as part of the Autumn Camps.

A big thank you to our amazing artists who put so much work, care and thought into creating and delivering each one of these workshops.

Clare – Ana Colomer, Mayo – Lucy Hill, Galway – Sarah Fuller, Roscommon – Ciara Keegan and Tippeary – Paul Bokslag.

Thank you to all of our brilliant volunteers also.
