Helium Arts Launches Strategic Plan 2023-2027
We are delighted to share with you Helium Arts’ Strategic Plan for 2023 – 2027. This strategy sets out our vision, our values and our ambitious goals for the next five years.
We are also delighted to share our updated Policy Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as part of this strategy. This policy underpins all of our work.
Helium Arts was founded in 2010 and has grown exponentially ever since. Our last five-year strategy saw us reach 3,000 children by innovating a new national model of delivery called the Creative Health Programme. We established our Youth Advisory Group, as well as our first volunteer programme and Associate Artist Panel. We launched our Online Programme during the pandemic and our team grew from two to eleven employees, including three employed artists. We more than tripled our income and our impact reports consistently show the connectivity between our work and an increase in children’s wellbeing.
We are committed to continuing this work towards our vision of an Ireland, where all children are connected to their creative powers so they can live life to the full.
We are so grateful to our Youth Advisory Group, Board of Directors, the wider team, Artist Panel, and key supporters and stakeholders in the health, social, and childcare sectors who contributed to shaping this plan. Thank you to Noeleen Hartigan who guided our team during the strategic planning process and Rethink Ireland for their financial support.
We are looking forward to continuing our journey together.
Best wishes,
